Red River Gorge United put together a petition beginning in 2019 which opposes the RRED development outright for a variety of reasons. As of July 2021, that petition has gathered more than 43,000 signatures from people all over the world, including nearly more than 14,000 who are not from the United States at all! Clearly the Red River Gorge is cherished by people far and wide and should be protected and cared for closely.
